an organic sorbent that is particularly suitable for the separation of
hydrophilic substance by partition chromatography. Typical applications
are the analysis of amino acids, carbohydrates, phosphates and nucleic
acid and nucleic acids derivatives.

cellulose plates are offered as classical TLC grade or as HPTLC plates
for demanding high performance separations.
