CO₂ انکوباتور, Galaxy® 170 R and 48 R
Temperature range ambient +4 to 50 °C, volumes 170 or 48 l
Fully-featured R series incubators incorporate an
intuitive LCD interface, and a full choice of options, allowing for a
customisable unit with user friendly control, alarm and logging
features. Ideal applications include cGMP work, stem cell research,
cancer research as well as traditional and non-traditional cell culture.
The six-sided direct heating profile provides
exceptionally uniform temperature and incubator environment; it guards
against wide fluctuations in temperature and CO₂ that can shock cells.

Design: The advanced controller and display
screen allow for rapid analysis of real-time and historical conditions.
Data logging capability for 72-hours continuous logging of temperature,
alarms, door-openings and CO₂, O₂ and RH if required. Password
protection secures settings and alarm set points, and a diagnostic
interface shows system parameters and functions.
The chamber is constructed from seamless stainless steel
with easily removable shelves making the chamber easy to clean. Model
170 R has a sealed inner glass door to allow sample viewing, whilst
maintaining environmental integrity. Model 48 R has an integrated and
heated outer-door window. Both models feature a 25 mm access port and
lockable outer door.
Shelves: Supplied with perforated stainless steel
shelves. Model 170 R has an eight multi-position shelving rack with
four perforated shelves whilst model 48 R has a six position shelving
rack and is supplied with three shelves.
Cleaning and disinfection: Option for high-temperature disinfection cycle or copper chamber and interior.
Safety: HEPA filtration of gas supply inlets to
ensure sterility. Audio/visual alarms for temperature, CO₂ and door open
(and O₂ level, if O₂ control is selected). Optional BMS relay contacts
for central monitoring.
Control: IR CO₂ sensor with automatic auto-zero
programmable function. Directly heated stainless steel humidification
pan, for quick recovery times. Optional active humidification system
with audio/visual alarms when water level is low. Two optional O₂
control ranges.
Humidity: Up to 95% for Galaxy model 170 R (2,5 litre pan); 90 - 95% for Galaxy 48 R (0,5 litre pan).
Connections: RS232 communications port and mains connection 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
Technical data: Temperature fluctuation (time):
±0,1 °C; temperature variation (spatial) at 37 °C : ±0,3 °C, nominal
power: 1600 W for Galaxy 170 R and 1200 W for Galaxy 48 R. Energy to
maintain 37 °C \< 0.1 kWh.
Options: Model 170 R is available with optional
high-temperature disinfection, O₂ control (either 0.1 to 19% or 1 to
95%), active humidification, cooling feature, four or eight split inner
glass doors, copper chamber and interior, BMS alarm relay contacts,
humidity display and alarm. Model 48 R is available with optional
high-temperature disinfection, O₂ control (either 0.1 to 19% or 1 to
95%), two split inner glass doors, BMS alarm relay contacts, humidity
